Will the CERB run out or be extended?

On June 15, 2020, I had the pleasure of speaking on Breakfast Television this morning about what happens when the Canadian Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) runs out.

UPDATE: On June 16, 2020 the Government announced that the CERB eligibility will be extended for 8-weeks or two eligibility periods, effectively allowing folks to remain on CERB for the summer of 2020 with no eligibility changes. As the country reopens, this is creating a problem for minimum wage employers as many workers are refusing to return to work or seek out a job as the CERB is more attractive (financial and lifestyle) than working (in the short term anyways).
